Ame Brewster, Director of Operations in Driftwood
Ame Brewster began her wine journey while studying at Cornell University among the Finger Lake vineyards. After a year of political science research with a Fulbright grant in Croatia, Ame relocated to NYC with the intention of pursuing a career in the NGO-world. To fund her NYC lifestyle, she worked as a cellar rat and sommelier for Mario Batali.
Ame quickly realized that her diplomacy skills were better suited to the wine world and she proceeded to work as a sommelier at several top NYC restaurants including Gotham Bar & Grill, Alto, and Michelin-starred Corton. She also worked for Daniel Boulud at Café Boulud in Palm Beach where she won the Star-Chef Rising Star Mixologist. We are so thrilled Ame has decided to return to Texas and become part of the Fall Creek family as Director of Operations for our Driftwood tasting room. Ame is currently pursuing her WSET Diploma and Court of Master Sommeliers Advanced Certification, and she loves to teach our Fall Creek wine classes.
