Tasting Notes

Our Fall Creek Vintner's Chardonnay exhibits the full potential and varietal purity of this regal grape when it’s grown in a thoughtfully selected Texas vineyard. The grapes for our Vintner's Selection Chardonnay are sourced from the Certenberg Vineyard in northwest Texas Hill Country near the town of Voca. High-draining, pink granite soils influence the structure and flavors of this delightful wine.

The 2017 vintage is elegant, yet approachable with notes of green pear and apple blossom on the nose, generous lime and almond cream in the mid-palate, and a hint of sourdough on the finish. This is a Fall Creek staff favorite!

Suggested Food Pairing

This wine would pair beautifully with delicate seafood, mild white fish, fresh salads and milky cheeses. It would also make a wonderful apértif wine.
