Tasting Notes

91 Points from James Suckling 2019 Report
This is Fall Creek's first barrel-fermented and aged Chenin Blanc. It is a limited release and an exciting wine with an exotic noise suggesting spiced quince, starfruit, buddha's hand citrus and Tiger Lilies. The palate is broad and creamy with a lemon pith note. The wine shows the more robust and showy qualities of Chenin Blanc while maintaining distinctive minerality and freshness.

Suggested Food Pairing

Pairs well with robust seafood dishes such as grilled salmon or shellfish risotto, rich poultry dishes, roasted veggies, and it would be amazing with a creamy potpie!
